Welcome to the world of Avery Creative, home to Trudie Avery and her amazing team. You are here because you want to know a little more about who we are, what we do and how we do it. First, let’s start with how it all began…
When people ask me how long I’ve been a designer, I say; “Since I was 4 years old”. This was when my dad came home from his job at a paper mill with a massive trunk FULL of paper and cards of all shapes, colours and sizes. This trunk lived under my bed and over the next 10 years I drew, I cut out and I created all sorts of weird and wonderful things.
When I was 18 I went to college to study graphic design. When I was 21 I became a junior designer and now I have been a graphic designer for 25 years but I have never worked a day in my life.

As a designer, Trudie has worked with big brands like Virgin Holidays and Coca Cola. As a team, we have also worked with coaches, cleaners, climbers and croupiers! From logos, websites, banners, flyers, brochures and even a board game once, we have done it all! Ultimately though, we have a special passion and love, and that is helping small business owners get their business up and flying. The process of becoming a business owner has many ups and downs and we just love being part of the launch-build-impact process!
But it’s not a special gift, it’s a talent. One that’s been crafted and tweaked, and we want to share it with the world. We spend a significant amount of time just getting to know you when we begin the design process. We want to know who you are, what you stand for, who your clients are and what they need to feel about you. This is important because our mission is to rid the world of pointless logos and brands that die on their feet because business owners are not able to create brands that attract customers. Passion is not enough. And people don’t even know what they don’t know when it comes to branding. So we are here to close that gap. To ask the right questions and to guide and cajole you (if we need to) into creating the perfect brand that fits your business and attracts the kind of clients that will fill your soul, and your bank balance.
We are so confident that you will love what we do, that if you’re not completely happy with it, we won’t charge you for it. This is a big statement but we’re 100% confident that you are not only going to love what we do for your brand, but your clients will too! So what have you got to lose? Nothing! Remember you are creating your brand each and every day, whether you like it or not. So, let’s be intentional about it.
